⚡ Power Outage
- Assess scope.
- Manager: Check if the outage is building-wide or area-wide.
- Decide to stay open or close based on daylight, backup power, and safety.
- Call the utility to report and obtain an ETA for restoration.
- Turn off nonessential equipment to prevent surge damage on return.
- If extended, begin TCS food safety protocols for refrigeration and hot holding.
🔒 Security Incident or Robbery
- Remain calm and comply. Do not resist.
- If safe and discreet, activate the silent alarm at the bar.
- Do not chase or follow the perpetrator.
- When safe, call 911 and provide details.
- Ask witnesses to remain for police. Preserve the scene.
- Manager: Lock doors if needed and capture physical descriptors for the report.
